Since last year, we began to implement work meetings that we called Doppler Sessions . In these, we call on entrepreneurs and companies from different industries to share experiences, challenges and Digital Marketing strategies. The objective? Doppler Sessions: Learning from the Experience of Others In the Digital Marketing industry, it is very common to find written, infographic and audiovisual content presented as success stories . Knowing the story of an entrepreneur or a business idea that managed to stand out and become a role model for others is common. But you know that not everything is rosy. Those same success stories also often share obstacles and challenges, and even moments when the business could be on the verge of disappearing. And that’s learning and inspiration too ! Basically, because there are almost always moments of risk and uncertainty, and mentioning them serves to alert those who are about to undertake a similar path. But above all, to provide possible solutions to these inconveniences.
To learn from the reality of others, it is necessary to leave ourselves for a while. Open ourselves to the experiences of our colleagues and share our own. The benefit is mutual, and the gain is shared! This is the spirit that motivated us to formalize what we had been doing for a long time, and instead of providing advice separately, we decided to arrange group meetings where all the participants were both listeners and protagonists. It is about coinciding in a moment and a place to share challenges and opportunities of the different industries of a country. face-to-face doppler sessions These work sessions with Spain Phone List companies began in 2019 as face-to-face meetings with a small number of participants , usually no more than ten. A person from the Doppler team acted as host and moderator , with the aim that the exchange circulated and was not unidirectional , involving all attendees. 2020 arrived and we redoubled the bet, since each session left very good ideas to implement in the digital strategies of the participating companies, as well as new contacts and intentions to repeat the meeting. However, with the coronavirus, it was impossible to meet in person. This did not stop our intentions and certainly neither did the participants.
This is why the Doppler Sessions were transformed into virtual encounters. The best part is that the experience continued to be satisfactory! This modality allowed adding more attendees and increasing the frequency of meetings. We did 6 Doppler Sessions in a month, more than one per week. It also allowed us to “erase borders” and reach countries where we still do not have representatives, but we do have many Allies and companies that requested to participate in the meetings. So our work sessions reached 9 different countries. In order for the sessions to be truly productive, we take great care in the details. In both face-to-face and virtual encounters, we arrange everything in order to generate the necessary empathy and closeness so that each participant feels comfortable and wants to open up to the rest and take note of their experiences. At the end of each session, we ask the attendees to tell us their perception and how much it served them, through a survey. Then, we share with the whole team their answers to optimize the space and make it as profitable as possible.
